Synopsis
Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails reunite against a powerful new foe, Shadow, a mysterious villain with unprecedented powers. With their abilities outmatched, Team Sonic must seek an unlikely alliance. The directors of the previous films have mentioned playing both Sonikku Adobenchâ 2 (2001) and the single-player game Shadow the Hedgehog (2005) for inspiration. The film also draws on narrative elements from the Saturday morning animated television series Sonic the Hedgehog (1993). Commander Walters: [about Shadow] Shadow’s story began a lot like yours, Sonic. But where you found family and friends, Shadow found only pain and loss.
